City Relief
City Relief exists to create connections for the hurting and homeless to resources and hope.
City Relief uses mobile resource centers to assist people dealing with poverty and homelessness. These outreaches happen eight times a week in different areas of New York City and New Jersey. We serve hot meals, provide hygiene kits and socks, help our guests to feel safe and comfortable, invite our guests into community with staff, volunteers and other guests, treat them with dignity and compassion, and provide an opportunity to speak to our trained staff who will connect them to life-changing resources and a community of care.
We exist thanks to private donations and for as little as $1.05, you can provide a meal for someone that would have to choose between eating and another necessity. You’ll also be creating a system of wrap-around, holistic care for people that desperately need someone to catch them once they’ve fallen. Thank you for your donation!

Help Set a Table of Hope This Summer with City Relief
City Relief is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving those impacted by homelessness (see more below). They are in the midst of an exciting building transition to create a Mobilization Center that will help ending homelessness in communities near and far become a reality. This season has extended longer than anticipated due to construction delays, presenting challenges for their outreach efforts. One significant hurdle is the temporary lack of a kitchen to prepare meals over the summer. Will you join me in helping continue this vital work by making a donation? Any amount will help. We start by providing our outreach guests with the essentials to survive a day. Our outreaches are pop-up care centers where staff and volunteers serve hot meals, distribute hygiene kits, socks, pray for the needs of our friends on the street - a place where everyone belongs and help can always be found. *Connection :*
Our next step is to connect guests to resources that will help them to a better tomorrow. We do this through Life Care Visits. These are one-on-one meetings where our team provides hope and resources through individualized action plans. We listen, encourage, and pray with guests, and connect them to resources they need like emergency shelters, job programs, detox or drug rehabilitation, or other available programs. *Community :*
Our care specialists walk alongside our guests to help them connect with our community partners and navigate agencies & government programs. This can mean anything from assisting with paperwork to attending meetings to advocate on our guests’ behalf.
