NairoBits empowers underserved youth aged 17-24 with tech education, presenting them opportunities to succeed & end poverty.
Goal/Cause - Our goal is to empower young people from low-income backgrounds by providing them with the digital skills needed to succeed and create a better future for themselves.
Mission - To impact the lives of 300,000 underserved youth in 3 underserved regions of Kenya by providing digital learning programs, workforce training, and industry internships within the next five years so they can transform their socio-economic lives.
Impact - To deliver effective training and support for 45 cohorts through transformative partnerships with community-based organizations. We aim to secure employment opportunities for over 80% of the youth trained, enhancing their ability to improve their socio-economic conditions.
By bridging the digital divide, we will enable access to digital resources for 3 million individuals, significantly expanding our influence and empowering communities to thrive in a digitally integrated world.

Kenya boasts a young and vibrant population, with 75% of the population under the age of 35. Yet, youth unemployment remains a significant challenge, driven by a critical gap in digital skills.
NairoBits is tackling this problem head-on. We provide disadvantaged youth with the tech training and mentorship they need to succeed in the digital economy, both locally and globally. Our graduates are securing jobs, launching businesses, and breaking the cycle of poverty.
But we need your help to reach more young people.
Your donation will help us build and upgrade digital hubs, providing access to essential training and resources. Every $500 sponsors a student’s full training program, including web development, coding, and digital marketing.

Urgent Relief Fund for NairoBits Students
As the heavy rains continue in the country, we are deeply concerned about the safety and well-being of our students and their families who reside in informal settlements particularly vulnerable to flooding - near river banks. The recent long rains have brought about devastating flash floods, forcing many families to flee their homes. In response to this urgent situation, it is NairoBits duty of care , therefore we have launched an emergency relief fund to provide immediate assistance to our students and their families to ensure they can access basic necessities: Food Sanitary pads for girls Diapers for families with babies Clean Drinking Water Commitment Waiver for their Tech Education Transport to and fro home during this heavy rainfall. Your support can make a significant difference in the lives of these families facing incredible adversity. Whether through in-kind donations or monetary aid , every contribution will help us provide essential relief to those in need and alleviate their suffering.
